ANNUAL EXAMINATIONS
Our dancers have the opportunity to sit their Dance exams or assessment in August of each year. Whilst these exams are optional, they are a great goal for dancers to work towards and to show off their hard work.
JAZZ ASSESSMENTS
Students from Pre-Beginners through to Junior Jazz can sit their Jazz dance ‘assessments’; a no-fail situation. This is a closed room setting, lead by their teacher in front of a JDNZ examiner. Students receive a report card and a certificate for their efforts.
JAZZ EXAMS
Dancers in Pre-Grade Jazz and upwards are eligible to sit their Jazz exams, in front of a JDNZ examiner. This is a closed room setting and has no teacher assistance. Students will perform their grade work, receiving a report card with examiner feedback and certificate with their passing result.
Students who which to sit their exams must be enrolled from term 2 onwards and attend dance regularly. The studio uniform and jazz shoes are required.
